Ans: - Just like
photon gluon is also the mediator they bind the quarks in proton and neutron.
When quarks exert force on each other then basically they are exchanging
gluons. Gluons are responsible for color force between quarks. We can say that
gluons carry color charge. Gluons couple color charges.
